I guess I like Brooks better since he has responded to the recent dogma as
I think is appropriate. At any rate, I agree with most of this, not all,
but I specifically believe if we are going to retain the supposed
accountability in No Child Left Behind, it would be wise first to address
and include the responsibility of the parents, which is totally absent in
the program. I have read it in it's entirety and there is no mention, not
one, of the people most responsible for a student's attitude toward and
success in the educational process. That pandering, to the parental voting
block, needs to be corrected.
