„Cream bassist Jack Bruce dies, aged 71. Jack Bruce was said to be one of the best bass guitarists in rock history.

Jack Bruce, bassist from 1960s band Cream, has died aged 71, his publicist confirms.

Legendary supergroup Cream, which also included Eric Clapton and Ginger Baker, are now considered one of the most important bands in rock history.

They sold 35 million albums in just over two years and were given the first ever platinum disc for Wheels of Fire.

    1. Habe schon die ganze Zeit eine Doppel-CD von Cream im Player. Was die drei in zwei Jahren zusammen geschaffen haben ist phantastisch.

    Nur zwei Jahre Cream … – das muss man mit Blick auf das Geleistete erstmal sacken lassen.

    Die Rock-Geschichte ist nicht arm an Songwriter-Duos. Lennon/McCartney, Jagger/Richards etc.
    Weniger auf dem Radar ist das kongeniale Gespann Jack Bruce/Pete Brown.
    I feel free, Dance the night away, White Room, Politician …
